Application

1. Stearyl alcohol can be used instead of cetyl alcohol, such as dispersing agent in cream and emulsifier in cosmetics, and also used as heat preservation agent for rice field, reservoir covering agent, defoamer, polishing agent, Lubricants, etc. Stearyl alcohol and β-(3,5-di-tert-butyl-4-hydroxyphenyl) methyl propionate can be prepared by reacting with sodium methoxide as catalyst and dimethyl sulfoxide as solvent at 130℃ for 2-3h. This is an excellent non-polluting non-toxic antioxidant, widely used in polyolefin, polyamide, polyester, polyvinyl chloride, polystyrene, ABS resin to expand various rubber petroleum products.
